Here you will find information for events and competitions organised by the Parish Council.
Proceeds from events help us raise money for the charity we are currently supporting:
Please be aware that photography and filming may take place at any event organised by the parish council.
By attending our events, you consent to your voice and likeness being used, without compensation, in films and images for use in any and all media—including our website, social media, and marketing materials.
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify an event organiser or the photographer upon arrival.

Upcoming and Regular Events:
Summer Fun
During the Summer Holidays in July and August we host Summer Fun at Medbourne Pavilion and other activities across the Parish.
There are lots of different activities available over the week, both inside and outside, suitable for all ages including sports, crafts and open play activities.
Monthly Coffee Morning
On the last Friday of the month (December and bank holidays excluded) the Parish Council hold a coffee morning for the community between 10am and 12noon.
We also occasionally have craft sessions or other events running along side the coffee morning, these will be advertised in the month prior to the event.
Drinks and cakes are available in return for a donation to our nominated charity: Willen Hospice

Dates may be changed due to holidays, date changes will be advertised well in advance via our noticeboards and Facebook page.
Competitions
Photography Competition 2026
We're looking for residents with an interest in photography to participate in our photo competition. We are seeking high-quality images that capture the unique things that make up our parish.
We are looking for photos that we can share across our online platforms, in our newsletters, and winning photos will be professionally printed and displayed as artwork at our community buildings.
Photos can depict anything from nature and greenery to interesting architecture, or simply something that represents to you the place that you live in.
Photographs must be taken within the boundaries of the parish, which includes Crownhill, Grange Farm, Medbourne, Oakhill, Oxley Park, Shenley Church End, and Shenley Wood.
All photos must have been taken within the last 12 months.
Submission Details
Deadline: All entries must be received by Friday 20 March 2026.
Entries must be sent digitally via email to clerk@shenleychurchend-pc.gov.uk with the email subject line 'Photo competition'.
You must include the following with your entry:
A digital copy of the photograph in .jpeg format.
Your name and address.
Where and when the photo was taken.
