Shenley Church End Parish Council was delighted to host two fantastic Easter-themed sessions this April, bringing plenty of smiles, creativity, and just the right amount of messy fun to our community.

On Thursday 2nd April, we kicked things off with a very special Build-A-Bunny session hosted by the wonderful ArtVenturers. The room was full of excitement and laughter as children got to work bringing their new bunny friends to life.
The fun continued on 9th April with an action-packed Arts and Crafts session. Tamika from ArtVenturers returned to lead a class full of eager young artists through a host of different activities.

The hall was transformed into a hub of "messy fun" where children could explore:
• Bouncy ball painting for a bit of high-energy art.
• Crown making fit for Easter royalty.
• Clay modelling and stencil painting.
• Creating colourful Easter hangers and fluffy chick paintings made with feathers.
From carefully stuffing their bunnies to tucking a special heart inside, every child created a unique companion to take home. The creativity didn't stop there; everyone spent time decorating personalised tote bags to carry their bunnies home and even filled out official adoption certificates! It was a joy to see such amazing bag designs and so many happy faces leaving with a new "best friend."
Every child went home with a collection of handmade treasures and, we suspect, a few paint splatters to prove how much fun they had!
We would like to extend a huge thank you to Tamika from ArtVenturers for her energy and expertise in putting these sessions on for us. If you’d like to see more of the creative workshops she offers, visit her website below:
