Join in and work with artists Juneau Projects to help create a new artwork celebrating the wildlife of the pond on Shenley Road!
We're exicted to announce a series of creative workshops from artists Ben and Phil from Juneau Projects designed to engage local residents in the improvement and celebration of our community pond, located at the corner of Shenley Road and Burchard Crescent. These free workshops offer a unique opportunity for residents to explore the pond's ecosystem and contribute to a new public artwork for the area.
Participants will have the chance to create fun and unique artwork based on the fascinating creatures that inhabit the pond and its surrounding area. The artwork created during these sessions will be incorporated into a new public installation, ensuring that our community's creativity is permanently showcased.
We have a variety of workshops available for you to join:
Pond Visit and Artwork: Tuesday 19th August, from 10am to 12pm, or 1pm to 3pm.
Pond Wildlife Art: Friday 22nd August, from 10am to 12pm, or 1pm to 3pm.
Newt Houses in Clay: Tuesday 26th August, from 10am to 12pm, or 1pm to 3pm.
We look forward to seeing you there and working together to make our community even more beautiful!
The project is commissioned by Culture Milton Keynes, in collaboration with Shenley Church End Parish Council.
