Charity Support
It is important to us to support charitable causes locally.
Throughout the year, we host various community events, and the proceeds from these activities are dedicated to supporting Willen Hospice.
The current charity is: Willen Hospice
Charity Grants
We have grant funding available to support local charities operating within our area, and we're inviting our residents to suggest charities that could benefit from this funding!
Charities may be affiliated with a national organisation or be specific to Milton Keynes, but they must have either already supported or have the potential to work directly with residents in the parish.
Last year MK Act, Medical Detection Dogs and Unity MK were all chosen by you, and received grants from us to carry on their fantastic work.

Who they are:
Willen Hospice is the only adult care Hospice in Milton Keynes.
As one of the most loved charities in the local area, they have cared for patients for over 40 years. They give compassionate, personal end of life care at our Hospice and in people’s homes, helping patients live well every day, and die with dignity. This exceptional care is given free of charge.
The Hospice is set alongside Willen Lake with its beautiful views, making it a tranquil place for patients and their loved ones to make the most of their time left together.
Willen Hospice is run by local people for local people. Countless people in the community are passionate about the charity, and it’s this thriving community that helps us drive fundraising and donations, freeing them up to focus on easing the pain of those near the end of their lives.
They have 170 staff and over 600 volunteers who help carry out vital work.
